When you decide to hire someone with Specified Skills Visa 1, you must join. Please confirm with the Specified Skills Industry Council for Food Industry, obtain your membership number, and then register your company.

Only companies operating in the food service or food and beverage manufacturing industries that directly employ Specified Skilled Workers can register for a Corporate My Page. While you cannot register for a Corporate My Page under the name of a support organization, it is permissible to act as an agent for the registration and other administrative tasks of a company that is eligible for registration, upon receiving a request from that company.

Yes. If you have a directly managed restaurant, you will be considered a "company engaged in the restaurant business that directly employs foreign nationals with specific skills," even if your primary business is accommodation. To register for the company's My Page, you will need to attach an image of your "Restaurant Business Permit."

No. You can register for a corporate My Page with only one recruitment contact. From that company's corporate My Page, you can collectively register as an applicant and apply for exams for each business company. Even in this case, you will be charged the registration fee and usage fee for only one company. However, if you wish to manage each business site separately, please register your business sites from the [Business Site Registration] screen on your corporate My Page as the overall administrator.

You can reserve up to 59 days in advance through your personal account page. However, when applying through your corporate account page, you can reserve up to 89 days in advance.

You cannot take it. For Examination 2, you must register as a test-taker through the company's My Page. Also, you cannot take the exam outside of Japan. Please take the exam within Japan.

Yes, it is possible. When registering company information, please select "Sole Proprietor" for the company classification.

We will confirm that you have a subcontract agreement and that your registered company is a member of the Japan Overseas Skill Corporation for the specified occupation, but registration is possible.

To take the Specified Skills No. 2 examination, you must prove you have at least 2 years of experience in administrative practices and supervision. Because the company currently employing the foreign national who wishes to take the exam is the only entity that can certify their practical experience during their period of employment, we currently do not accept applications from individuals.

Invoices will be uploaded to the "Billing and Payment" page of your corporate-only My Page. Please select either credit card payment or Pay-easy payment for your company representative's payment. We will not send invoices by mail or any other method.

Registration fee and usage fee
Registration Fee (C-division only, no charges for A or B divisions.)
We will charge a one-time registration fee of 5,500 yen (tax included) upon registration for the Company My Page.

Usage fees (B and C categories only; no charges will be billed to Category A companies.)
After the information of the registered applicants is approved by OTAFF's examination, a usage fee of 1,100 yen (tax included) per applicant is required for the first time.
Additionally, the annual usage fee limit for one company's My Page (from April to March of the following year) is 22,000 yen (tax included).
If 21 or more new examinees are registered per year on one company My Page, no usage fees will be charged for registrations from the 21st person onwards, and exam reservations can be made immediately after OTAFF's examination is completed.

We do not offer refunds for any payments made, including registration fees, usage fees, examination fees, etc. Please review your order carefully before completing your payment.

No. For years in which there are no registered examinees, there will be no usage fee charged for that year.

Companies in all company classifications from A to C can apply to take the exam. Please proceed with candidate registration by entering the necessary information, such as your passport and residence card, on the candidate registration screen.

Companies that are OTAFF supporting members (Category A) or companies recommended by a regular member (Category B) can apply to take the exam. Other companies (Category C) cannot apply to take the exam.

　

Required. After candidate registration, the candidate's email address will be used to send information such as exam applications and payment of exam fees to their individual email. Please prepare an email address that the candidate can receive and register (apply) on the candidate registration page.

The applicant will make the payment themselves. However, a company representative can also make the payment on their behalf.

Please select credit card payment or PayPay for payment by the applicant.
When a company pays on your behalf, please choose between credit card or PayPay as the payment method.

We can make the payment on your behalf, but the receipt will be addressed to the applicant.
