※3) Regarding the MRZ (Machine Readable Zone)

The MRZ (Machine Readable Zone) is a two-line alphanumeric code printed at the bottom of the passport page.
- The information in the MRZ may differ from the name and number printed on the card (Visual Inspection Zone: VIZ). Do not match the card notation; instead, verify that the information in the MRZ is correct.
Example 1) In Indonesian passports, the order of given name and surname is reversed between the visa page (VIZ) and the Machine Readable Zone (MRZ). Please ensure you register them in the order they appear in the MRZ. If the given name and surname are entered in an order different from what is written in the MRZ, you will not be able to take the exam.
Example 2) Bangladeshi passports may not have the full name written in the MRZ, but please register on "My Page" exactly as it appears in the MRZ. If it differs from the MRZ, you will not be able to take the exam.

If the name, date of birth, or passport number registered on your My Page does not match your passport's MRZ, please submit an information change request through My Page at least 5 business days before your test date.
Even if you submit a change of information request 5 business days in advance, you will not be able to take the exam unless it is approved by OTAFF 3 business days before the exam date.
