The exam questions for Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) 1 are in Japanese for both the food service industry and the food and beverage manufacturing industry.
The kanji in the exam questions have furigana.

The Technical Skilled Worker (1st Grade) examination for both the Food Service Industry and the Food and Beverage Manufacturing Industry is 70 minutes long (both domestically and abroad).

Yes, there are no duplicate limits for support agent email addresses.

You can register with an email address other than your own. However, you must be able to log in to your My Page yourself. Also, important emails will be sent from our organization to the registered email address, so please ensure you can receive them.

With the consent of the applicant, registration can be done on their behalf.

Those who are in the process of renewing their residence cards must also bring the original residence card. If your residence card is being renewed but your period of stay expires on the day of the exam, please bring the original residence card along with one of the following three items (①-③) that proves your renewal is in progress.

Certificates for those who took the exam in fiscal year 2019 (April 2019 – March 2020) are being mailed to the addresses entered by successful candidates when registering on their My Page.
If there are any deficiencies in the delivery address or if there is no nameplate, the certificate of achievement may not be delivered.

Starting in June 2026, the name of the "Test Result Notification" will change. Test Result Notifications showing a passing grade will be considered Certificates of Passing. Please use the Test Result Notification with a passing grade when applying to the Immigration Services Agency of Japan.
