1. Dates when you can book your exam

Monday, May 25, 2026, from 1:00 PM
You can book your exam up to 3 months in advance.
(2) People who created their own "My Page"
Exams that can be booked
Food and Beverage Manufacturing Industry No. 1 (※）
② Reservations Start
Friday, May 29, 2026, from 1:00 PM
You can book exams up to two months in advance.
The examination for the restaurant industry, No. 1, is currently suspended by order of the Japanese government, so reservations cannot be made.
2. The day the exam begins
Tuesday, June 23, 2026

3. When booking the OTAFF exam for the first time this year, please be sure to register your passport information again.

Please register according to the on-screen instructions. You cannot take the exam without registering. Please be sure to register.

Please check carefully to ensure the order of surname and given name is not reversed.
② Nationals of countries such as Sri Lanka and Bangladesh:
For people with long names, only a portion of their name may be written in the MRZ.

4. Reservation Process

Individuals who have registered for a personal My Page
Please log in with the email address and password you registered on your My Page.
If you fail to log in, please reset your password by clicking "Forgot your password?".
Registered applicants from Company X
If you have received an email with the title "【OTAFF】My Page - Getting Started Guide",
Please log in according to the instructions in the email.
Anyone who has not received the above email (e.g., those whose applicant registration was approved in the old system)
Reset your password using "Forgot Password" with the email address registered on your company's My Page.
Please log in with your email address and newly registered password. - Check "Confirmation before test registration" at the top, and then check the box that says "I have confirmed the above and will proceed with test registration."
- Click "Test Industry" in "Test Reservation/Confirmation."
- Re-enter your passport's MRZ information
- OTAFF checks (waits until finished)
- When I receive the email, I will book the exam.
- Pay money
- Reservation complete!
